Real Madrid are plotting a move for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.
It is understood that Los Blancos are preparing a bid worth £80m for the Frenchman next summer.
The attacker is now believed to be Zinedine Zidane’s number one transfer target.
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has ordered the club to make a £80m bid for his fellow countryman.
The French boss has recently lost the likes of James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata, meaning his attacking options have been reduced.
Therefore, the 45-year-old is now intent on adding to his attack either in January or next summer.
Madrid view the 21-year-old as the perfect candidate to add to Zidane’s squad.
The French winger would bring both youth and pace to the Bernabeu, something which they are currently lacking.
Having missed out on Kylian Mbappe to Paris Saint-Germain, they have now turned their attention to the former Monaco man.
For now, there are no concerns at Manchester United of losing Martial, with the player currently tied down to a contract until 2019.
The club are unwilling to sell the player, who they view as being an integral part of the future.
Martial is seen as one of the best players under the age of 23 in Europe.
Pushing for a move?
it is understood that Martial could push for a move away from Old Trafford.
He is currently being used by Jose Mourinho as a squad rotational player and has been struggling to nail down a starting spot.
This could, therefore, lead to Martial forcing his way out of the door at Manchester United and opting for a move elsewhere.
He has made a strong start to the new season, netting five times in 12 appearances.
Although of those 12 Premier League appearances, the French winger has started just five of them.
